Referral Program
Physicians and Other Healthcare Professionals
Refer your patients and clients to My Fitness Coach for improved fitness, nutrition and
wellness. For every referral who becomes a training client, you can earn 1 hour of free
services for you and your staff.
Previous and Current Clients, and Anyone Else
If you refer a friend who buys sessions, you can earn either $50 cash or a free personal
training session for each referral.
How it Works
My Fitness Coach offers personal training, wellness coaching and nutritional
counseling to people in their homes, condo facilities, and/or in a Fitness First gym (see
the About page for information on credentials). All prospective clients receive a free
introductory assessment to review goals, medical history via a physical activity
readiness questionnaire, and to discuss recommendations for a wellness program. No
further obligation is necessary, though the prospect must make a purchase in order for
you to receive the referral award.
I am happy to work with deconditioned people with medical issues as long as they have
physician clearance. Wellness coaching (assisting people with behavior change using
principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy) is a great start to build and sustain healthy
lifestyles. Exercise will be introduced slowly so that the client may adapt easily. While I
cannot prescribe diets, I will assist people in making healthier eating choices.
To measure progress, I will record weight, circumference measurements, BMI, and
resting heart rate on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. Physicians who make referrals will
receive updates on their client's progress every 1-3 months depending on the health
risks present.
Clients will learn not only how to create healthier lifestyles, but also how to deal with
obstacles and setbacks. In addition to regular meetings, I offer free email support so that
clients can check in, give progress updates, ask questions, and provide feedback.
